Park-and-ride facility with bicycle parking garage, Bamberg
The Franconian city wants to make the switch from car to bicycle attractive to its citizens. For this purpose, the so-called Radhaus was built opposite the main railway station as a component of the new park-and-ride facility. The listed former locomotive shed can now accommodate up to 330 bicycles - charging stations for e-bikes, air tank stations and lockers complete the offer. The urban space is rounded off by the homogeneous surface concept with pastel yellow GDM.SCADA paving and custom-made products in the same color.
