Frohnau Casino, Berlin

Today, the Frohnau Casino at the S-Bahn station in Berlin's Gartenstadt district of Reinickendorf looks almost like it did in the days of the emperor. The ensemble of buildings, including a tower, residential and commercial buildings dating from 1910, has been renovated in line with its listed status and carefully extended in the course of revitalization. The design of the outdoor facilities was based on the historical model and the extremely lively years in which the casino, with its restaurant, large beer garden, cinema and coffee house, became an attraction and popular excursion destination.
