About us

GODELMANN is a family-run concrete block company with its headquarters in Fensterbach, Bavaria. With perfection and a great awareness of the environment, people and nature, we have been developing and manufacturing concrete blocks for sophisticated open space design for over 75 years. Durability, uncompromising quality, good design and pioneering innovations for environmental and climate protection - this is what makes the GODELMANN brand so special.

We now have more than 500 employees at six locations in Germany and two in Prague. In the meantime, we have developed into the market and quality leader in Europe and are a major employer in the region.

We are the Masters of Stone

As Masters of Stone, we stand for know-how, passion and innovation. Concrete block is a building material that is so much more intelligent, versatile and sensual than you might think at first glance. Especially when it's not just any old stone - but one that has been invented for a special purpose. Depending on the requirements, we manufacture our products in series or in the concrete factory, always using raw materials from the region.

What we do is not limited to developing extraordinary surface systems. In our in-house stone laboratory, we work on new ideas, experiment with new raw materials and develop new recipes. Until a stone of the highest quality is created that inspires with its aesthetic design and is so pleasant to the touch that you want to touch it again and again. We are not satisfied with anything less.

Bundled know-how

At our headquarters in Fensterbach, we use five paving block machines and two slab presses to produce high-quality concrete block products every day on an area of 30 hectares, which can be further processed in our finishing line. Every day, countless special items are produced by hand in our factory.

The large storage areas offer capacity for over 3,500 items. This makes the Fensterbach site the largest production site for concrete blocks in Europe. With our own, bio-LNG-powered fleet of trucks, we can guarantee fast delivery.

In our stone laboratory, we research proactive surface systems and their effects. Since the late 1980s, we have been working on unsealing surfaces and maintaining the natural water cycle in the urban environment. We think about sustainability consistently and comprehensively right from the product development process, creating proactive ecological products that impress.

Our sustainability report contains all the milestones we have achieved in this area to date and the goals we have set ourselves for the future.
