Modern villa with minimalist garden, Prague (CZ)
A good 85 years after the foundation stone was laid in the Prague Werkbund Estate and after periods of neglect, the Villa Kostal has been given a new lease of life. As a gleaming white jewel, the cube once again impressively highlights the ideas and principles of functionalism. The renovation was largely based on the original plans by architect František Kerhart. The multi-level garden design in the form of a terrace with small steps and a water basin is completely new.
