GDM.proActive - proactive surface coverings

In our stone laboratory, we develop and research surface systems with proactive properties and their effects. Since the late 1980s, we have been working on the unsealing of surfaces to promote the natural water balance. However, in order to make our urban areas climate-resilient for the future, decentralized surface infiltration now has to meet more requirements than just relieving the burden on the sewer network, such as

• filtering pollutants from rainwater runoff
• the reduction of urban heat islands and
• the reduction of fine dust pollution in busy traffic areas

We consider sustainability consistently and comprehensively right from the product development process, creating products that impress.
