Altfalter Castle Farm, Schwarzach near Nabburg
In the border region between Bavaria and Bohemia, an initiative is working successfully against the increasing number of vacant properties in the region. One of them is the municipality of Schwarzach with its abandoned castle farm in the Altfalter district. The renovated property has now blossomed into a showpiece with a new use as a center for club life, culture and festivities. The conversion of the stable, barn and courtyard was also successful thanks to the hands-on support of the village community.
