The new address at the southern entrance to the exhibition grounds provides relief for the ICC redevelopment project, which had to be cleared of asbestos. There is plenty of space on the two large floors for trade fairs and congresses and on the "GDM.SCADA Plaza", where up to 11,000 participants will be able to do business at the same time. For the imposing cube, the capital city authorities first had to demolish a prestigious building dating back to 1935: the historic Deutschlandhalle, once the largest multi-purpose hall in the world.
