Footpath and cycle path on the state road 2162, Neuhaus an der Pegnitz
The municipality in the Nuremberg region has built a separate footpath and cycle path parallel to the state road 2162 between the villages of Neuhaus and Hammerschrott. The aim was to increase road safety for pedestrians and cyclists, particularly in the narrow sections at the rocky areas. The embankments were secured with shotcrete. The structure blends harmoniously into the landscape by facing it with GDM.ALLAN block stones. The approximately 700 meter long section of path now closes a gap in the Pegnitz Valley cycle path.
