The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft wants to initiate and intensify synergies at its site in Ilmenau, Thuringia. The new building in the "Am Vogelherd" industrial estate, which has brought together the Applied Systems Engineering branch of the Fraunhofer IOSB* with the Wireless Distribution Systems project group of the Fraunhofer IIS**, serves this purpose in particular. Up to 212 employees research, develop and meet under one roof on cutting-edge technologies such as new cybernetic methods and processes for the optimal control and management of complex systems.
