Old bath, Unterwössen
The small community of Unterwössen in the Achental valley has apparently made the most of its old indoor swimming pool, which had become uneconomical: a vital community center with charisma. Based on the existing building contours, which have already been energy-optimized, the architects developed a new interior with a multi-purpose hall, day nursery and tourist information centre. Thanks to its joint use by clubs and public institutions, the building has become the social and cultural hub of the region.
