Old railroad station site, Ursensollen

If the former railroad station in the municipality of Ursensollen could tell a story, it would tell of refugees, returning war-wounded and a low-flying air raid in April 1945. A memorial stone, which the Upper Palatinate residents erected in the course of renovating the building and redesigning the open spaces, is a reminder of the eventful past. The Bavarian Chamber of Architects recognized the sensitive and high-quality renovation of this historic site by including it in the "Architectural Tours" presentation series.
