Protestant Center, Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate

The former Capuchin monastery in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate has probably never looked as good as it does today. In fact, the architectural gem from the late 17th century was even threatened with demolition - the building fabric of the complex, which also includes a brewery building, was in such poor condition. Rescue came in the form of a sensitive renovation and redesign in the spirit of monument protection. What began as a stroke of luck is now the Protestant community center with the monastery church (Christuskirche), the parish center with a hall and space for community events of all kinds.
