The new main reception of the sports company PUMA in Herzogenaurach, Franconia, radiates contemporary elegance in gray, white and glass. The hosts' logo, the big cat, is prominently emblazoned on the wall design with
GDM.APPARENTE tile.
The handmade design tile system made of architectural concrete is craftsmanship par excellence. Each piece is a masterpiece of self-compacting high-performance concrete, selected quartz and natural stone sands and coordinated iron oxide colors. Further characteristics: highest exposed concrete quality (class SB4), enormous compressive strength (class C55/67). It is also water-repellent, easy to clean and perfectly suitable for outdoor use.
The tile wall is formed from dark gray, sharp-edged rectangular formats with smooth surfaces. Shadow joints give the design a high degree of plasticity. The diverging tile colors stand out and further enrich the mural. The effect is created by using different, even used formwork panels.
A "cool" detail, and one that is also often requested, is the use of recessed holes to suggest anchor holes that remain when forming and concreting concrete walls. All other extras were carried out on site by the tiling company, including cut-outs in the door areas and circular recesses for the ventilation system. Incidentally, the suitable flexible adhesive for applying the design tiles is also available from Godelmann. Long formats with a rough-sawn board structure are also available.
