At the Ferrari & Maserati Center, the aim was to reconcile the high usage requirements with a clear and simple design. At the same time, environmental protection should not just be a side issue, but should be given a boost. The new GDM.DRAIN stone paving ensures that rainwater seeps away over a wide area on site. Point infiltration is not feasible due to the soil conditions, and discharge into the public drainage system is not permitted. The surface water is absorbed by the paving in the up to 9 mm wide joints and integrated channels located on the stone flanks. After seeping through deeper layers of soil into the groundwater, the natural water cycle is closed again.
