Comenius Square, Prague (CZ)
Prefabricated building on the left, prefabricated building on the right, sparse greenery above and the large civil defense bunker below - Comenius Square in Prague was truly full of design deficits. An "inaccessible place, marked by a lack of interest", stated the planning office, which then went on to master the revitalization. The design concept describes an urban landscape with a series of individual recreational spaces. The aim was to accommodate all residents and the students of the neighboring music school and - last but not least - to create a square worthy of its name.
