The Zeeheldenplein in the seaside resort of Ostend is more inviting, more resilient and three times larger following its renovation and redesign. The port city has improved the coastal protection and the quality of the open space on this popular stretch of beach. The Belgian Queen of the Beaches received an extensive construction kit from the concrete factory - each piece precisely prepared according to the architect's design in the color of sand and beach.
