Countless guests have stayed at the Upper Palatinate inn with the current name Landhotel Weißes Roß. These have included highly prominent guests such as Duke Christan August von Pfalz-Sulzbach in 1622 during the Thirty Years' War. The history of the hostel dates back to the 15th century. The business really took off in the 1960s with various renovations and extensions to the fine restaurant and the large wellness area. Most recently, the hotelier family opened a new building, which sets new standards with its modernity and high-quality design.
