Kreissparkasse, Biberach
The Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects has declared the new administration building of the Biberach Kreissparkasse to be an "exemplary building". According to the jury, the interior has a special charm. This refers to the inner courtyard designed with climbing trellises and seating elements, which is intended for relaxing breaks. The polygonal geometry of the competition winner, an irregular pentagon, continues consistently from the ground plan of the building through the inner courtyard to the paving.
