On the Elastastrasse, Bad Ragaz (CH)
In the municipality of Bad Ragaz in the canton of St. Gallen, the non-profit housing association Logis Suisse AG has decided to increase the density of a plot of land near the train station by adding additional buildings. A study contract among four architectural firms resulted in two modern apartment buildings with 17 apartments each. The assessment panel praised the high quality of living in the new buildings in particular, as well as the architects' idea of enhancing the entire development with a shared outdoor space.
