St. Emmeram secondary school, Aschheim
The wait was worth it: after a long period of cramming in makeshift containers, the 350 secondary school pupils from Upper Bavaria were finally able to move into their award-winning classrooms. The compact block was given two memorable signets with the vertical larch wood slats and almost white GDM.CASADO stone cladding. The timeless surface design aimed for by the architects goes hand in hand with a particularly hard-wearing high-grade facing concrete.
