Stölpchenweg in Berlin's Wannsee district is one of the capital's finest residential addresses - a beautiful spot between the forest, golf club and lake. But the gravel road with its functional shortcomings and design deficiencies did not fit the picture. In order to turn words into deeds, the district office responsible announced that the completely renovated traffic facility would be a "clearly recognizable and easily understandable traffic facility".
