Village square, Friesheim
The village renewal has turned the village upside down, but today the redesign has met with widespread approval. The paving with the classically shaped GDM.APPIA stone and the lively joint pattern created by the planted GDM.VIA stone covering have been applauded. Some of the old trees were retained and, together with new hedges and shrubs, provide atmosphere and shade. The Upper Palatinate residents crowned the finale of the work with the new fountain and a proper village celebration.
