Vocational school for music and academy for social pedagogy, Plattling
Music has been in the air in Plattling since 1977. In that year, the Lower Bavarian town established a new type of school in the state, the vocational school for music (BFS). The curriculum includes intensive basic musical training in classical music and Catholic church music. Meanwhile, the talented youngsters make music in a modern and soundproofed new building, which is also used by the specialist academy for social education. The communal roof is shared by 80 pupils and around 50 teachers.
