Church forecourt, Dürnsricht
A sculpture made of several concrete blocks completes the square design at the parish church of St. Albertus Magnus in Dürnsricht, a district of the Bavarian municipality of Fensterbach. The work of art marks the center of the new cultural center as a meeting place. Three artists from the region produced the blocks in exposed concrete with polished surfaces under the technical support of Manufaktur. A quote from the German bishop Albert Magnus, who worked in the 13th century and was later canonized, is embedded in the blocks: "Man stands in the middle of creation, between matter and spirit, between time and eternity."
