Cristal retirement and nursing home, Biel (CH)
Planned as a replacement building, the new Cristal retirement and nursing home opened in fall 2018 in Biel's Mühlefeld district. With this modern building, the operator aims to meet current requirements in terms of care and support. To this end, it now has a fully barrier-free building with contemporary care rooms, single rooms and apartments. All communal activities take place in the dining room and in the public restaurant with its large south-facing terrace. The concept was awarded 1st place in a project competition.
