Cultural Forum at Scharounplatz, Berlin
The Kulturforum in Berlin is home to cultural institutions of supra-regional importance such as the Philharmonie, the State Library, the Museum of Decorative Arts and the Museum of Prints and Drawings. The uniform design language of the open space concept connects the institutions and subspaces with each other and enriches them with urban amenity qualities. Part of the concept is the T4 memorial and information site, which commemorates the victims of the National Socialist euthanasia murders.
