Stadtwerke München (SWM) is using its own methods to combat the general housing shortage: it is building affordable company apartments, for example on Dantestraße in the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. The stilted flat-roofed building has around 55 furnished apartments. The residents also have access to common rooms and two roof terraces. Tenants are trainees and new employees who are moving to Munich and have not yet found a home there.
