The Upper Austrian capital of Linz is striving for higher things. A visible sign of this is the increasing number of high-rise buildings. One of these is the 76 m high Lux Tower, which was built as part of the City Spot project. The site of the former Linz local railway station has been transformed into an attractive living and working space. The fourth tallest building in Donaustadt (as of January 2021) mainly houses condominiums with an open-air floor that, together with the outdoor facilities, serves as a green experience and relaxation zone. In the coming years, investors want to build more towers, with the Bruckner Tower currently leading the way at almost 100 m high.
