The heating bill for the Freyung secondary school is likely to be much more favorable today following the energy-efficient refurbishment. Like many other public buildings in Lower Bavaria, the typical 1970s building benefited from federal and state funding from the second economic stimulus package. Along with the façades and the heating system, the interior and the schoolyard were also given a second lease of life.
