Central Station, St. Pölten (AT)
The Lower Austrian capital has completely renovated its train station. The atmosphere in front of the southern entrance gate is now dignified and inviting. The square is dominated by the elegant sandstone-yellow paving with granite-grey bands. The rectangular formats were refined with high-grade chippings and bush-hammered surfaces and finally laid in a stretcher bond with a one-third offset.
