Plancontext Landscape Architecture, together with BBS from Berlin and the Polyplan Kreikenbaum office, has succeeded in designing a diverse garden show site. The site extends across the meadows south of the old town down to the Nieplitz and covers an area of 15 hectares. The special feature of the State Garden Show is the smooth transition between the medieval town center and the garden show grounds.
Böhmer Galabau's themed garden is geared towards sensory perception, with the different areas having clearly identifiable and independent spatial characteristics in terms of materialization and use: each area appeals to one of the five senses - hearing, touch, sight, taste and smell. In particular, the garden is dedicated to the diverse theme of culinary delights. For example, spice plants in the green joints of GDM.SCADA liner release pleasant smells as you walk through them.
