After the large-scale renovation and expansion, the 43,000 or so daily train passengers will not only use the station for traveling, but also for shopping and working. The listed station concourse has already been completed with facades and floor coverings restored to their original appearance. In the interior, the historical Viennese panel from the 1950s has been translated into a contemporary style using CASADO plating.
